The latest trip to Vietnam was extremely successful whilst heart wrenching. Thanks to the generous support of you, Vietnam Airlines, Reagan Milstein Foundation a small army of volunteers led by Nguyen Tram, we were able to;
- Take food, clothing & money to over 200 families living in poverty
- Distribute money to parents of children in the critical care ward at Tamky City hospital
- Take food, clothing & essential supplies, spend many hours lending assistance & some fun at a special care school
- Clothes, food & candy to 270 students in Tarbao village
- Clothing & food to a remote village, Cha Vang village near the Laos border
None of this is possible without your support & I cannot begin to tell you the joy & happiness on the faces of these gentle people that just touches the soul.
Their hardship seems insurmountable but the resilience they show & the “get on with life” attitude is something that I admire so greatly. Though living in poverty or trapped in tortured bodies there is always a smiling face to greet us & a cup of tea.
“TOGETHER WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD WHEN WE, CHANGE THE ONE”.
