Something that always touches my soul is the hardship that these gentle people face every day seems insurmountable but the resilience they show & the “get on with life” attitude is something that I admire so greatly.

One such occasion was when we were distributing TET wishes (happy New Year), food & some money to Mr Tran Van Thuy. He is a delivery man at the local market on his rickety old push bike & his wife also works full time as a cleaner. With their daughter they live together in a home but their standard of living is extremely poor. Their daughter Ms Tam is 22 years old & due to the debilitating effects of Agent Orange has never had the ability to get off her bed.

In the past 6 months even in the midst of COVID 19 & all the restrictions we have been able to raise the funds to provide the family with a kitchen & bathroom. The construction of these is due for completion by end of July 2020. None of this is possible without your support
