I am continually inspired by the commitment, compassion and dedication of the leadership and volunteers of this incredible charity. The real everyday impact this charity is making on lives and communities globally is profound and I am proud to be a supporter of this incredible work.

Of all the charities I’m asked to support, few have the tangible and real result of monies raised and the conversion of funds into genuine and immediate benefit that Change The One has. It’s a tremendous cause helping those among us who, through no fault of their own, are enduring a life and lifestyle that is challenging to say the least. I’m so proud to be a patron of this wonderful cause.

Change the One is an amazing organisation in that all its fundraising is channelled to the cause itself.  The founder and Chairman Peter Nicholls, sees a need, and enthusiastically approaches friends to help where needed. His creative ideas means that people in remote areas are touched in so many ways , and the help this Organisation is able to give those less fortunate is very compassionate. Change the One is a hands on, and loving way of improving peoples lives.

I have a very personal connection to Change the One Charity, as this was founded by my brother. For that reason, I would be highly critical, if there was anything to be critical about, instead I am so proud of what Peter Nicholls has accomplished and continues to achieve, in raising funds to aid those in need, in Vietnam and The Philippines. Anyone who is associated with the charity is not paid, it is all on a voluntary basis and 100 per cent of any funds raised, are used tosupport any current projects, or families in need. I have seen, first hand the effort Peter Nicholls puts into Change the One and his efforts have paid off. Change the One has been able to provide cows and fresh running water, for remote families, build schools, provide pushbikes to ensure children can get to school easier than walking, provide essential food and supplies, on an ongoing basis, to a special needs school. Repair and fix houses for people in remote areas as well as education and supporting self- sustainability. Just recently, sewing lessons were provided for some ladies in The Philippines and the sewing machines were purchased by Change the One. In 2024, after a severe storm hit the Phillipines, Change the One stepped in to help the typhoon and flood effected people and provided much needed food supplies and also fed 720 people hot meals. My brothers unwavering commitment and selflessness in ensuring his vision of helping people continues and makes me proud to be a supporter of Change the One. We could all learn just by “Changing the World with one act of kindness at a time”.

I’ve proudly supported Change the One for many years and have always been impressed by the incredible work they do in changing lives. One of my most memorable contributions was donating a cow to a village — a simple act that had a profound and lasting impact on the community. Their GALA events are nothing short of extraordinary. They’re not only uplifting and enjoyable but also a powerful reminder of the tangible difference that every dollar raised makes on the ground. I’ve also had the privilege of knowing Peter Nicholls, the founder and chairman, for over ten years both personally and professionally. His integrity, vision, and commitment to serving others are inspiring, and it’s clear that his leadership has shaped Change the One into the impactful organisation it is today. I wholeheartedly recommend supporting Change the One. I’ve had the privilege of watching Peter Nichols’ journey with Change the One over the years, and it’s nothing short of inspiring.
