CHANGING THE WORLD WITH ONE ACT OF KINDNESS AT A TIME

Christmas Sharing

Christmas is a precious time of year, marked by the joy of family, friends, and the spirit of giving. Yet, too many families live in absolute poverty, facing dire conditions with little to nothing during this season.

Thanks to the remarkable generosity of Zeny Q’s Fine Foods of Los Banos, along with the dedicated support of manager Abigail Quilloy and her family, we were able to provide Christmas meals to over 300 families in need. These meals were meticulously packed and distributed with the invaluable assistance of June, June, and the Women’s Brigade of Los Banos.

We were also privileged to have Cheryl and David Sidebottom, along with their grandchildren, join us from Australia for this special occasion. As long-time supporters of our charity, their presence brought warmth and connection. Having previously travelled to Vietnam to witness our efforts there, they experienced firsthand the realities faced by families in the Philippines. Their involvement in the distribution of food not only highlighted the importance of community support but also embodied the true essence of Christmas—sharing love and compassion with those who need it most.

Together, we shared the joy of giving and made a meaningful impact in the lives of those less fortunate during this holiday season.

SEWING PROGRAMME

We were truly honoured to welcome Cheryl Sidebottom from Australia, who generously dedicated her time to conduct patchwork classes for the volunteers of the Women’s Brigade in Los Banos. Cheryl’s expertise and passion for sewing not only equipped the Filipino volunteers with valuable skills but also fostered a spirit of camaraderie and friendship among all participants. The joy and teamwork in the room reflected our shared dream: to uplift and better our community.

The outstanding work produced during these sessions is a testament to the commitment of everyone involved at Change The One. We are immensely grateful to Cheryl, her husband David, and their grandchildren Abby & Lucky for their support and love, which enrich our mission to help fellow human beings in society. Thank you for making a difference!
