CHANGING THE WORLD WITH ONE ACT OF KINDNESS AT A TIME
TET 2025 Mission Summary
In 2025, our journey to Vietnam was driven by a deep commitment to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those less fortunate. Our team carefully inspected ongoing projects and evaluated new requests for assistance, ensuring that every effort we undertook was impactful and heartfelt. It was a time of hope, compassion, and tangible change for many families and communities in need.
Here are some of the key missions and achievements from our trip:
- Provision of a cow to Mr. Vo Van Nhut – a symbol of sustainable livelihood and hope for a family overcoming adversity.
Mr. Vo Van Nhut:
Head of household, born in 1977. A victim of a severe work accident in 2005, he broke two vertebrae, resulting in paralysis in both legs. He now walks with a prosthetic leg after the amputation of one limb.
Wife: Le Thi Suong (born 1980), a hardworking garment worker at Tay An Industrial Park, Duy Trung.
Children:
Vo Le Kieu Diem (born 2004), a resilient young woman who, after finishing grade 12, chose to help support her family by sewing and working in garment factories, instead of pursuing university studies.
Vo Kieu Vy (born 2016), a bright student in class 3C at Que Xuan 2 Primary School.
